Good Saturday morning to you all!! I got up SO early today, and well, why just sit there? Oh, don't worry, I won't make you read my blog THIS early. You can wait a little bit.... Ok, NOW read it!! ;) Just get yourself a nice cuppa joe or tea, have a sitdown and take a look at my newest featured Etsy artisan.

So, in Etsy chat, which I hardly EVER go into, ;) I met this kook of a guy named KennetheDante. He was fairly new to Etsy and Etsy chat, but NOT new to the chat cyber world, as I realized he knew more chat lingo than I did, :P and seemed to navigate about the room with ease. Quite a pro, really! I quickly discovered some very interesting facts about KennetheDante, one thing is, he is a neighbor of mine... a fellow cheesehead from Wisconsin!! INSTANT "LIKE". We celebrated the superbowl win of our beloved Green Bay Packers this past season!! :D The other undeniable fact I discovered about Kenny is his excellent craftsmanship in his work. I have been around woodworking almost my whole life, and I can spot quality. Kenny seems to be a master at whatever medium he chooses to work with. And I know there is SO much more in him, that is ready to bust out... in time...Pinky...in time!
Here are a few of my favs from his shop: just click on his banner or any picture to be linked to his shop.

I know you would give these items a proper description! :)

Nice, huh? Well, you should check out his shop more thoroughly. Convo him about doing custom work. I know he loves customs. ;) I think we will be seeing a lot more of KennetheDante, and for a long time to come. Go Kenny!!

As far as Annabel's Aprons go, I am getting closer to getting some tees screen printed up. I have a couple designs that I am gonna start out with, and get a few shirts printed and listed on Etsy by early next week. Stay tuned for that. And don't worry, I will keep you abreast of all the details. Ok, now back to your cartoons! :P Thanks for reading! Have a GREAT day!!

Good day to you all! Thanks for tuning in to my blog. It's hard to believe that we are into a new year already. Where did LAST year go?! LOL! It's kind of a blur to me. Well onward and upward, shall we? I want to dedicate this blog post to a wonderful new soap shop on Etsy called PSProducts which happens to be owned by my daughter-in-law. She makes wonderful organic soap.

Here is her profile: I started making soap about a year ago when my Mom told me she would like to start making soaps, but didn't have the time with all of her other crafty hobbies. At the same time my husband and I had been using a very expensive soap that we both loved but could no longer afford and couldn't find a cheaper alternative that lived up to our standards. So, that's when I decided that even if I started making soap and it wasn't a hit, I would be filling a need for me and my husband as well as some family members who thought homemade soap was a great idea! I made and sold soap for a while to family and friends and then put the project on the back burner to welcome our son Asher in May of this year. Now that I'm a stay at home mom I really saw the benefit to opening an Etsy shop to help supplement our income as well as having a creative outlet and fulfilling a need that everybody has! I love to create, and I hope to add some things to my Etsy shop in the near future that show some of my other creative outlets.

Valentine's Day is coming up, and PSProducts has come out with some fun, and oh so sweet smelling heart shaped soaps, along with some pretty bordered blocks. Check out her shop to see the different scents. This one is oatmeal, milk and honey....mmm <3

PSProducts has made available sample sizes if you just cannot decide on a scent. Consider purchasing a sample size with a regular order. The wooden soap dishes are made by her dad, and sold in her shop. Very cool!

mmm.. Snickerdoodle, a favorite scent! You seriously want to take a bite out of it! What I like about the Snickerdoodle is how it looks as it wears down. Not only does it last a long time, but as it does wear down, it looks like a beautiful piece of abstract art! HAHA!! Maybe the artist in me?

Here are just a few of the soaps from PSProduct's Soap Shop!! But you will have to come and take a look, and try some out for yourself! Enjoy! :D

And just a plug for me...... I take all her pictures! I will do products shoots for you as well, just contact me! annabelsaprons@gmail.com

WOW!!! WOW!!! I am SO sorry that I have neglected my blog this much!!! One might wonder, why HAVE a blog at THIS point?! Well, I will see if I can redeem myself a little here.

A LOT has gone on this past year, in my business and my personal life. A lot of changes, it can make your head hurt. Some really great things, to some pretty sucky things. But I am trying to have a grateful heart about all that has happened, to know I am growing as a person, which I think is the goal anyway, right?

In December, I sat down with my BFF, and we wrote out some goals for this upcoming year. We put some time frames on some of the goals, and some, they will come as the year progresses. But I am excited to say, that I have been really trying to meet those time frames, and it feels GOOD!

Some new things that are coming this year, are my new skinny wired headbands. ** I ** think they are pretty slick! They seem to be a hit too. I have sold a good amount already this year! I have a LOT made up, and am listing daily on Etsy. You will have to check out the styles and colors, and hopefully you can find something you like.

Another new thing that I am working on for this year is adding screen printing to my shop. I am super excited to be adding this!! It will come in the form of tee shirts, scarves and aprons at this point. I think the marriage of the textile and the creative design of screen printing will be extremely satisfying. It will allow me to do a wider array of custom work too, which I LOVE!!

I would like to get back into doing some feature artists as well, it's a great way to network and to show off some other talented artisans.

I will try to blog WAY more often that I have, I hope you check in on occasion!! Have a great day! :D
